- Shahadaشهادة(Shahādah)foundations
- The declaration of faith: "There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." It is the first pillar of Islam and the entry point into the faith.
- Shirkشرك(Shirk)aqeedah
- Associating partners with Allah in worship, attributes, or lordship. The opposite of Tawheed. It is the gravest sin in Islam — the only sin Allah does not forgive if a person dies upon it without repentance.
- Salahصلاة(Ṣalāh)worship
- The ritual prayer performed five times daily. It is the second pillar of Islam and the most regular act of worship. Salah requires Wudu (ritual purification) and facing the Qiblah (direction of Mecca).
- Sunnahسنة(Sunnah)foundations
- The recorded words, actions, approvals, and characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Together with the Quran, it forms the foundation of Islamic law and practice. Preserved in collections known as Hadith.
